Thanks to the YMCA Scouts for once again working together

Special thanks to the parent volunteers and YMCA leaders for their help and support in making the event run smoothly. The children not only participated in the distribution of supplies, but also hand-drawn and wrote heartfelt cards full of blessings, adding warmth and care to the lives of the homeless.

Drama Discovery Workshop

In this activity, the children fully demonstrated their creativity and potential through a variety of courses including imitation, concentration training, communication and cooperation, physical training, rhythm training, theater games and drama/music therapy activities. In this safe and joyful space, the children increased their self-confidence and expression skills, learned how to get along with their peers, and gained a lot of happiness and growth in the process

Gift For Kids Foundation

Gift For Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization focusing on providing a healthy and happy childhood to children from various backgrounds.

Founded in 2007, Gift For Kids has been granted status as a charitable organization, recognized by the Hong Kong SAR Government. (File No. at the Inland Revenue Department: 91/9343）

Targeting children under the age of 12 from underprivileged backgrounds, we aimed to nurturing in each a feeling of being loved and accepted in society, and instilling into them the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values they will need to become self-sufficient and productive adults in the future. We support initiatives that help with children’s learning especially those with regards to language development. Solid language foundation not only improves a child’s learning capabilities in the long run, but also increases their self-confidence and abilities to communicate with others, to adapt to new environments and to face adverse circumstances.
